espaceflux - Responsible Gaming Commitment

At espaceflux, we prioritize responsible gaming as part of our dedication to player well-being and social responsibility.

Our goal is to provide an enjoyable experience while ensuring players are aware of the potential risks of gaming without self-regulation. We believe in empowering our users to maintain control over their play.

To foster a safe and balanced gaming environment, we actively promote responsible gaming and provide tools to help players manage their engagement effectively.

1. STAY IN CONTROL

Gaming should be an entertaining activity. To help you play responsibly, keep these guidelines in mind:

  • Treat gaming as a source of entertainment, not as a way to make money or escape real-life challenges.
  • Monitor your playtime: We’re thrilled to have you here, but moderation is key. Gaming should complement your lifestyle, not consume it.
  • Use our self-regulation tools: If you need to take a break, our platform provides options to temporarily pause your gameplay, as detailed in Section 2.
  • If you find yourself gaming excessively, consider reviewing the self-assessment questions in Section 3.

2. MAINTAINING CONTROL

We encourage all users to practice responsible gaming, which is why we provide various player protection features.

Self-Exclusion and Account Suspension

If you need to step away or feel that gaming has become problematic, you can voluntarily restrict access to your account through the "Profile" section. Choose from the following options:

  • Permanent Self-Exclusion: By selecting this option, your account will be permanently blocked. This decision is irreversible.
  • Temporary Timeout: Set a duration for your break, after which access will be automatically restored.

Your chosen option takes effect immediately. If you find that you can still access the platform, notify us promptly.

During an exclusion period, you won’t be able to access the espaceflux platform. If you need account-related information, contact customer support.

Once self-exclusion is activated, marketing communications will cease. However, system updates may take up to 24 hours, so you may receive messages during that time—please disregard them.

We also recommend excluding yourself from other gaming platforms where you have active accounts and adjusting your social media settings to minimize exposure to related content.

Account Closure

If you wish to close your account, send a written request to customer service at [email protected].

We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts at our discretion, while ensuring any existing obligations are honored.

Exclusion for Non-Registered Users

If you do not have an account but wish to block future access, send an email to [email protected] with your full name, address, and date of birth. Self-exclusion requests can be reversed only after seven days.

Activity Reports

You can review your gaming activity through the "Game History" section. For additional records, contact customer support.

3. SELF-ASSESSMENT

If you suspect gaming is becoming problematic, consider these questions:

  • Do you frequently think about past or future gaming sessions?
  • Do you hide or lie about your gaming habits?
  • Do you become frustrated when interrupted while gaming?
  • Have you ever binged on food after extended gaming sessions?
  • Do you turn to gaming to relieve stress or frustration?
  • Do you play early in the morning or late at night?
  • Do you extend gaming sessions beyond your intended time?
  • Have you missed work, school, or important obligations due to gaming?
  • Have you quit a game, only to reinstall it later?
  • Do you feel guilt or shame about your gaming habits?
  • Has gaming caused conflicts in your relationships?
  • Has it replaced hobbies or social activities you once enjoyed?

The more "yes" answers you give, the greater the potential for gaming-related issues. If you’re concerned, seek support from the organizations listed in Section 4.

4. SUPPORT ORGANIZATIONS

If you or someone you know needs assistance with gaming-related concerns, we recommend reaching out to Computer Gaming Addicts Anonymous (CGAA) at [email protected].

Note: CGAA is an independent organization and is not affiliated with espaceflux. If you have questions related to your account, contact our support team at [email protected].

PLAYER PROTECTION POLICY

1. PROTECTING MINORS

With easy access to the internet, parental supervision is essential to ensure minors do not engage in gaming activities. We encourage parents to use filtering software to block inappropriate content.

2. PARENTAL GUIDANCE

  • Keep login credentials secure and out of reach of minors.
  • Avoid using “Remember Me” on shared devices.
  • Monitor children’s use of computers and mobile devices.
  • Use filtering software like NetNanny or Cybersitter.

3. RESPONSIBLE GAMING TIPS

  • Ensure that gaming is your personal choice.
  • Set spending limits before you play.
  • Understand the game rules before starting.
  • Avoid gaming if:
    • It interferes with your daily responsibilities.
    • You are undergoing addiction treatment.
    • You are under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
